Ceiling Boss

English Oak ceiling boss, circa 1450. It is well carved depicting a pair of bunched Oak leafs. It has a good natural surface and colour. The surface quality and colour are first rate, and there are three peg holes for its original fixing. Despite the back having some insect damage it is in very dolid condition.
