Gothic Rail

Stock No 2295 

Two ends of a Belgian Oak two-sectioned rail, circa 1480, which would have formed part of the upper back part of a pair of Choir Stalls. The decoration at each end is of carved Fleur de Lys, next to which are carved roundels with the attributes of two of the Apostles, the Winged Ox of Luke, and the Winged Lion of Mark.
