Set of Three Carved Figures

Set of three carved English Oak Atlantes circa 1590. They depict three imposing gentlemen with shoulder length hair wearing tunics with dog tooth decorated collars. Above their heads is renaissance style scrolling surmounted by six petalled roses. Their arms are crossed and below them are eight petalled flowers. These were most probably applied decoration to a monumentally sized coffer.
