Stock No 1081
Small English Oak Centre Table, circa 1580 – 1600 of outstanding natural surface condition to its three plank top with cleated ends. It is quite high for its size and has columnar turned legs joined by channel moulded stretchers. The top frieze is also channel moulded, and is narrow, apparently to match the stretchers and has the unusual feature for a table this early, of having a “concealed” drawer.
