Coffer

Stock No 1058  

Oak Coffer, Flemish, probably Belgian, circa 1530. The top has three moulded panels and sits above a three panelled front with each panel decorated with ornamented interlinked motifs. The hinges and working lock are original.
There have been restorations to the lower left side rail and feet, and the bottom has been replaced.

Dimensions: Width 133cm, Height 74cm, Depth 57cm.
